Packaging and condition

Lyophilized research materials are shipped in sealed vials. Materials with specific temperature requirements are shipped under the conditions stated on their product record.

• Single vials are each labeled with material, catalog number, lot number and research-use statement.
• Kits of 10 (bulk orders): the vials inside a kit are unlabeled. The kit package carries the full label: material, catalog number, lot number and research-use statement. All vials in a kit are from the same lot. Keep kit vials with their package, or label them under your laboratory's own procedures, so each vial stays traceable to its lot.

Bulk orders

Kits are prepared to order and usually ship in 7 to 14 days. We confirm availability, ship date and the final total by email before anything is charged.

On receipt

• Inspect packaging and vial seals on arrival.
• Confirm the lot number on the vial label (or, for kits, the package label) and verify it in Lot Verification.
• Transfer materials to the storage conditions stated on the product record.

Destinations, carriers and timing

• We currently ship within the United States only.
• Single-vial orders ship within 1 to 2 business days after payment is received. Bulk kit orders usually ship in 7 to 14 days.
• Orders ship with a tracked carrier service. Your tracking number is emailed when your order ships.
• Shipping is a $30 flat rate per order, and free on orders over $300.

Lost or delayed packages

If your tracking information stops updating or your package has not arrived, contact us through the Contact page (Order Support) within 7 days after the expected delivery date and we will open a claim with the carrier.

Import and regulatory compliance

Purchasers are responsible for ensuring that receipt of materials complies with the laws and institutional requirements applicable at the destination.
