Helios Scientific materials are sold strictly for laboratory and research purposes. Products are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, therapeutic use, diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, or prevention of disease.

Purchasers are responsible for ensuring materials are handled in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, institutional requirements, and laboratory safety procedures.

Eligible purchasers

Helios Scientific supplies research laboratories, scientific research organizations and independent researchers acquiring materials for legitimate laboratory research. By placing an inquiry or order, the purchaser represents that materials will be used solely for such research.

Prohibited uses

• Human or veterinary consumption or administration of any kind.
• Use as, or in, a drug, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic or medical device.
• Therapeutic use, or use in the diagnosis, treatment, mitigation or prevention of disease.
• Resale or redistribution to any party for a prohibited use.

Purchaser responsibilities

Purchasers are responsible for handling, storage, use and disposal of materials in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, institutional requirements, safety data sheets and laboratory safety procedures, and for ensuring that personnel handling materials are appropriately qualified.

Refusal of service

Helios may request information regarding intended research use and may decline, suspend or cancel any inquiry, account or order where it has reason to believe materials may be used outside this policy.
